Pegwise Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Pegwise is a cribbage scoreboard and peg-tracking app for iPhone, published by Wandering Jetstream LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you use Pegwise and the choices you have.

2. Information Pegwise itself collects: none

Pegwise has no user accounts, no analytics of our own, and no servers. Your scores, player names, and settings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us. We cannot see your games, and we do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

3. Advertising (free version only)

The free version of Pegwise displays a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and limit how often you see the same ad, Google may process information from your device, such as:

• general device information (model, operating system version, language);
• coarse, non-precise information derived from your IP address (such as country or region);
• ad interaction data (which ads were shown, whether they were viewed or tapped);
• device identifiers used for purposes like frequency capping and fraud prevention.

Pegwise does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and it does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework — there is no tracking prompt because the app does not perform that kind of tracking.

4. Your consent choices (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are in a region where consent is required for advertising data (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), Pegwise shows a consent message — provided through Google's User Messaging Platform — before any ads are requested. Ads are requested only in line with the choices you make there. Deleting and reinstalling the app resets these choices.

5. Remove Ads purchase

Pegwise offers a one-time Remove Ads purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see or store your payment details. Once Remove Ads is active, Pegwise does not initialize the advertising component at all — no ads are requested and no advertising data described in Section 3 is generated from your device by Pegwise.

6. Children's privacy

Pegwise is a scorekeeping utility rated 4+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone, as described above.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can remove all Pegwise data from your device by deleting the app.
• You can stop all advertising data described above with the one-time Remove Ads purchase.
• You can adjust ad personalization for your device in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding data processed by Google as an ad provider; Google's privacy policy linked above explains how to exercise them.

8. Changes to this policy

If Pegwise's data practices ever change — for example, if a future feature connects to the internet for a new purpose — we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before that feature ships. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
