Common questions
- Does Pegwise deal cards or count hands?
- No — Pegwise replaces the pegboard, not the game. You play with real cards and count your own hands; Pegwise keeps the score beautifully.
- How many players does it support?
- Two, three, or four players on a single device — including in the free version. Set the player count and names from the settings (gear) button.
- How do I score points?
- Tap a player's + button to add a point. Press and hold to score quickly. The − button corrects mistakes.
- Will I lose my game if I close the app?
- No. Your game — scores, names, and player count — is saved on your device automatically and restored when you return.
- How do I start a new game?
- Tap Reset and confirm. Player names and count are kept; scores return to zero.
- How do I remove the ads?
- The free version shows a single banner ad. A one-time Remove Ads purchase in the settings turns advertising off entirely. Already purchased on another device? Use Restore Purchases in settings.
- Where is my data stored?
- Only on your phone. Pegwise has no accounts and no servers — see the privacy policy for the full picture.
Reporting a problem
If something looks wrong, an email with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a quick description (a screenshot helps enormously) will usually get it fixed fast. We're a small studio — your report very likely goes straight to the person who wrote the code.
